Well come to Fortress Wales Well we had a dream Wendy and I oh Wendy is my coorganiser of F.W.07+ 08 +09 she is from South Wales Borderers WW2 re-enactment group. And for the last few years we have been looking for a site to hold the first Welsh based Multi-era event . and this year may 4th to 7th we held our first one at Margam Park which now is the new home .With 5 living history camps. ( C.U.R.S. S.W.Bs ww2 Free men of Gwent 41st Welsh reg of foot 1812 south Wales militray vehicles trust and Marcher Stuart ) plus some traders.

So on this site you will find all the info you need for Fortress Wales 08. ie phone numbers e-mail address links to web sites of societies taking part .plus photos of this years fortress Wales oh forgot to say my name is Buck from C.U.R.S hi and I will be handling the groups from medieval up to just before ww1 .and Wendy will be handling the groups from ww1 to present day .so now you know who to contact .

we are making it a charity event for Ty-Hafan Childrens Hospice. this will be the main charity the fortress Wales will support.
