Show Regulations and Information
The site is onpen for setting up from thurs 12pm & clear of site by tue 12pm
All vehicles on site must have the show vehicle pass clearly displayed on the vehicle windscreen
Modern camping is to be sited at the rear of the main castle building
All modern vehicles are to be moved from the show ground by 9 15am each day .car parking isavailble in the Orangery car park .All vehicles must be parked in the revevant car parks during the opening times of the show .Any that are not will be removed from site
All stands (trade, re-enactors and militarty vehicles) must be open and manned throughout the time the show is open to the public (9.30 am -5.00pm) Stricly no vehicle movement during this time
No gun fire before 10am or aftor 6pm .all weapones on site must comply with current U.K legislation. No blank rounds or pyrotechrices may be brought onto site unless prearranged with organiser
Diesel generators only to be allowed on site
Allocations of site and positoning of stand space will be entirely at the discretion of the organisers
No alcholhol to be consusumed while show is open to the pubilc
There are to be no camp fires on the ground. Raised fires are acceptable Ground damage is to kept to a strick minimum
All stands are required to keep the space allocated to them free from litter at all times . litter should be stacked and ready for collecition at the end of each days event.
All stands are responsible for ensuring the securty of their own stock and possessions .and to act as a safety steward for the stand area this is to incluled fire safety
Each stand trade, re-enactors and military vehicles to ensure they have their own risk assessment and public liabilirty insurance copys to be supplied at booking stage
General Park information
Please leave your area as you found it
Toilets and water taps can be found in the castle visitor center courtyard .please keep these clean ,do not wash cooking utensiles in the sinks
Park speed limit 15mph .please activate your hazard lights while driving in the park and give way to pedestrians and park animals
Wood for small raised fires will be provided . please use only this wood ,do not scavenge in the woodlands, any wood not used please return to the designated point
Fire extinguisers must be provied by each group 1 per tent filled with sand or water
There will be enterainment of sorts fri sat and sun evenings . how ever please bring along any instruments ou have for a sing song
The show will be supporting a local charity . all fees going directly to the charity (2008 rised £700.)
Anyone taking part in the show that are not following the rules will be asked to leave the site
