Who are we ?
We are the 29th Div "The Bedford Boys L.H.G, a newly formed WWII re-enactment group based in Wales and the West with over 50 years of previous re-enacting experience (mainly in the American Civil War). Set up to portray
the 116th Inf. Reg. (Stonewall Brigade), and the 104th Medical Battalion, plus 514th Transport which were
just 3 units that formed part of the
29th infantry Division. We also have a Civilian section within the group
Our goal is to inform the public of these brave soldiers who fought for our freedom and to honor their memory.And also show the civilian side of the history from the 1940s. Having said that we are a very friendly group and are determined to enjoy ourselves in our chosen re-enactment hobby.
As we are newly formed we will be only covering living history at this moment in time, but this will change as we grow, moving into battles at a later date. We are willing to help new members with advice as to their uniforms and kit. we meet every 3rd Saturday per month in Fairwater Cardiff CF 5 3NS
